In this column I will give a review of the latest concert I attended.

The latest concert that i attended was The Pledge of Allegiance Tour-featuring SlipKnoT, System of a Down, Rammstein, American Head Charge, and No One.

The show was absolutely amazing...I dont know where to begin. The show opened with the band No One who was really good, and they have a lot of talent and they should get bigger in the future.
After their set came American Head Charge, who was better then No One, and they are touring with other big acts so they should also have good things for them in the future.
Rammstein hit the stage after American Head Charge, and they were absolutely amazing. Their whole stage show was filled with explosions and pyrotechnics, which made their show amazing. The music was awesome too, as they played their latest single and the old ones from previous albums. They were great to see in concert and I would love to see them again.
After a short break, System of a Down came out to a wild applause...and they started playing. They were almost perfect, and they played around ten songs. Daron Malakian, the lead guitarist broke out into a guitar solo after Bounce, and he was playing very fast and it was amazing because he is a very talented musician. I would love to see them perform again!
After System of a Down, SlipKnoT went on the stage. A large curtain with the SlipKnoT logo dropped down over the stage as the techs set up for their stage set. After 10-15 minutes, the opening track off of SlipKnoT's latest album, Iowa, started playing. After the screams and the sound effects, the curtain dropped and they started playing People=Shit. The crowd went crazy and mosh pits were forming everywhere you look. Corey worked the crowd in between songs, and sung every song almost up to every tune. They sounded great, had a sweet ass stage show, and they didnt slow down the momentum at all. Their show was kick ass and I can't wait to see them again.
The whole show turned out to be a complete success, and if this becomes an annual event, then i will be sure to attend it again!

I also attended the Godsmack, Staind, Cold, and Systematic concert. That also was an amazing show.
I missed the first part of Systematic, but i made it there in time to see them play the last song of their set. They were really great of what i heard of them.
Cold performed afterwards, but they didnt really get a great response from the crowd. I personally thought that they were good, the music and vocals sounded great, but the stage show wasn't the best I have seen.
After Cold, Staind came to the stage, and they were absolutely amazing. Staind has been one of my favorite bands ever since i heard them for the first time around a year before the concert. They had a great stage show, and the music sounded just like it would in the studio. Aaron Lewis's vocals were also great, as he kept in tune with everything, and he made the show so much better. His lyrics are very powerful and he is a true poet, and seeing them live was really amazing.
After Staind and a short delay, Godsmack came on the the stage with a wild eruption from the crowd. Sully Erna really worked the crowd well and the music was amazing. They had a great stage show with plenty of explosions and pyrotechnics. It was all around an amazing set.
I hope this tour comes around again, because I would love to see all the bands again!

The next concert that I was GOING to attend was the Dream Theater tour, "World Tourbulence." I receive their newsletter through email, and I received the final list of confirmed tour dates, and...Dream Theater is not coming to Ohio. I was very upset to hear this news, but I was even more upset to hear the reason that they didnt get into Ohio. Ohio's concert venues judge the value and worth of the show by radio play and MTV airplay. And due to the fact that Cleveland radio sucks, and MTV sucks, Dream Theater could not book a date in a concert venue in Ohio. I was looking forward to seeing them in concert, but it appears that I will have to wait for another leg, or another tour.
